The role

I work with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, enterprise application management and managed services. As the main technical coordinator between customers, consultants, developers, operations teams, hosting partners and Microsoft, I make sure business-critical ERP environments stay stable, secure, compliant – and keep getting better.

That means leading release management, environment strategy, major incidents, disaster recovery, platform governance, audits and technical transformation – hands-on technical work combined with turning business requirements into operations that actually last.

Environments & refreshes

A big part of the day-to-day is automated database refreshes: copying production data into UAT, test, maintenance and prod-copy environments – safely, reliably and with as few manual steps as possible. Personal data is anonymised (GDPR), integrations and links are cleaned up, environment-specific settings survive the refresh, and failed jobs go straight to the 24/7 service desk through ServiceNow.

Keeping the classics running

Not everyone is on the latest version. For a few customers I still maintain Axapta 3.0 and Dynamics AX 2012 installations – including deploying code to production. Old systems, real business, no room for mistakes.

The contact point

Some customers simply have me as their person to call. When something fails and nobody quite understands why, I work out what is actually going on – and then find the right person to fix it.

Internal tools

On the side I build small tools that save colleagues from repetitive work – typically a React or Blazor front end on top of .NET and SQL Server. This site is one of those experiments.
